Thanks to everyone for listening last Friday, Mike and i are new to this and will get the show really good once we have got all our features up and running, it was nice to find out there was people out there listening in, we will be back again this week at the usual time 7pm till 8pm, all the usual features plus the 6 at 6 quiz, bit of fun, but thinking caps on for that.. 6 Test Cricketers, you put them in order of there D.O.B, and email the studio at studio@hcr.org.uk see you all Friday.

This week we will have an interview with Alan Cunningham from top Runcorn Sunday League football team Bridge Timber, plus Allan Glover from Runcorn Linnets looking forward to Saturday's massive FA VASE game for the Linnets down at Alsager Town, also we will have a different format to the top 6 @ 6 quiz to stop Bluenose from winning.....7pm till 8pm The Friday Sports Show looking forward to all things sporting this and every Friday on HCR 92.3fm.

The Friday Sports Show is back!!!!! 16th January 2009 at 7pm till 8, as good as ever, full of local sport, the build up to the weekends sporting action in Runcorn & Widnes ,plus a new feature on "local clubs" starting with HALEBANK FC we will have Bob Whitley & Phil Sheridan in the studio from the club to discuss with us the progress the club is making both on and off the pitch.
Hope you can tune in and enjoy HCR Sports huge coverage of local sport every Friday, with Glyn & Mike from 7pm till 8, and of course, The Sunday Sports Show with Mark & Kathryn from 4pm till 6 each and every Sunday.

This coming Friday evening the 30th Jan, we will have all the usual features on the show, and our "local clubs" feature this week will focus on WIDNES RUFC, and in the studio we will have the coach of the Widnes 1st XV Lee McDermott, plus we will have a full preview of all the local football & ARL, a report from The Linnets game at Squires Gate on Tuesday night, plus the predictor game with resident ARL caller David Patterson, and lots of good music and sports chat.

Will be a good show on the 20th, I will try and get it on the internet again for those who could not make to listen to the show so they don't miss out, I am also looking forward to being in the studio this week with the the team at the Friday Sports Show, I should have the chat on www.widnesvikings.org.uk by the end of of Saturday if everything is ok to put it on, for those who missed out on mine and glyn's talk on monday, also producer mike was in the studio, then also that has already been put on the website. This week on the Friday Sports Show we will have all usual features, plus in "local clubs" we will have Runcorn RLFC, Martin Davidson will be in the studio with all the news as his club look forward to the start of there season in May, we will all the local upcoming football and ARL for the weekend, plus news of a local team playing Hollyoaks in a charity match in the near future. 7pm till 8pm good sporting chat, good music, ONLY SNAG IS...i will not be tipping Middlesbrough to win this week....BUT.....i did say they'd win last week, and they did.

It was my first time listening to the Friday Sports Show last night (06/03/09) and I felt I had to congratulate the team on the excellent and comprehensive coverage that they gave all the local sports, its just what our Borough needs to promote our local clubs in all fields of sport.
Keep up the good work!
